The performance
By twenty-one I was earning six figures a year, on my own skill, on my own terms. It felt like proof. It never once touched the loneliness underneath it.
For years, I looked disciplined from the outside while avoiding things I needed to face. Men Built For More grew out of learning to keep my commitments when achievement, distraction and another fresh start could no longer do the work for me.

I was fifteen, standing in a school hallway, watching a girl I was sure liked me walk straight past into someone else's arms. I felt invisible. I spent the next twenty years building a life that would make sure I never felt that way again.
By twenty-one I was earning six figures a year, on my own skill, on my own terms. It felt like proof. It never once touched the loneliness underneath it.
Years into serious spiritual work, I had a retreat lined up with a teacher who mattered to me. That afternoon I told myself I'd watch a little pornography first. The afternoon disappeared. So did the retreat.
Then five months in the Peruvian jungle. No phone, no work, no audience, nowhere to manage the discomfort from a comfortable distance. This time I stayed. With nothing left to hide behind, I could see my own pattern clearly, and I kept coming back to one word. Integrity meant closing the gap between what I knew and how I lived.
I came home wanting to build the thing I had needed for twenty years: a place where a man's word is tested in ordinary life, in front of people who notice.
Jonathan Livingston · FounderI did not build this from a stage. I built it from inside my own pattern.
Everything on this site began as a rule I needed myself. What you get is the version that held, first for me, then for the men I have coached since.

We look at what keeps happening, the decisions you are putting off and what you want to do differently. Then we agree specific actions and review what happened when you tried them.
The work has to show up outside our conversations: in your calendar, your relationships and the commitments you keep. I notice what is hard to see from inside the pattern, question the story that keeps it alive, and hold the standard until you can hold it yourself.
Responsibility shows up in small, checkable ways: the conversation you stay in, the promise you keep when it costs you, the money you look at, the apology you make without defending yourself. Steadier men make steadier homes, teams and communities, and that is the wider point of this work.
Masculinity built on an enemy is not strength, and neither is abandoning the people who rely on you and calling it freedom. I will not point at women, weakness or the world instead of the man in the mirror. Contempt for anyone, including who you used to be, is nothing to build a life on.
The free audit takes five minutes and names the foundation under the most pressure. Fire Circle, the weekly room, opens in the new year.
